The Economic Development Unit produces the Great Yarmouth Industry Handbook.

Showcasing the vast array of skills, technology and expertise present in Great Yarmouth’s port and industrial areas, this high quality publication is mailed to over 1000 destinations nationally and internationally including British Embassies, major ports around the world, the European Parliament, MPs and inward investment agencies.

The handbook is also used as a key inward investment tool by the Borough Council. The 2008/09 publication spotlights important economic development activities in Great Yarmouth and celebrates the new outer harbour construction. The handbook also reports on key regeneration initiatives including EastPort UK and the Urban Regeneration Company, 1st East

Councillor Graham Plant, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Tourism at the Borough Council commented, "As Great Yarmouth continues to develop new opportunities for sustainable economic growth, the handbook ensures that both the national and international business community are well aware of Great Yarmouth’s dynamic business scene and exciting plans for the future."
