The unauthorised dumping of waste (flytipping) is totally unacceptable and details of places where it occurs should be reported to the council.

The Council has a team of Environmental Rangers with powers to investigate, issue fixed penalty notices and report offenders for prosecution. Dates, times, car/vehicle registration details are always important as is the willingness to provide a statement.

The Council will however respect confidentiality of those giving information when requested.
