The Council is the landlord of about 6,200 council dwellings. As a landlord, it needs to ensure that estates are well run and also try to ensure that all tenants are able to live peacefully and securely.
To do this the Council has nine Estate Managers who are each responsible for a patch of around 700 dwellings. The issues that estate managers can deal with include:-

The Estate Managers are located in three offices (each office also deals with repairs issues); Gorleston Housing Office, Greyfriars House (dealing with Rural North, North and Central Yarmouth), South Yarmouth Office (dealing with Middlegate, South Yarmouth and Barracks Estate).
