Gateway to the Norfolk Broads

Travel inland from the port of Great Yarmouth and you will find mile after mile of slow winding rivers and unspoilt waterways amongst some of East Anglia’s most beautiful countryside.

The Norfolk Broads are internationally renowned for their flora and fauna. Great Yarmouth’s Breydon Water is a haven for wildlife, hosting one of the UK’s largest tern colonies as well as rare species such as the Swallowtail butterfly and the Norfolk hawker dragonfly.

For more details on boating, fishing, bird watching, walking and cycling in the beautiful Norfolk Broads National Park please visit www.broads-authority.gov.uk or contact Great Yarmouth Tourist Information Centre.

For specific queries regarding bird watch towers, please call the Broads Authority on 01493 700645.
