Gypsy and Traveller Sites

Various groups of people who are referred to as Travellers and Gypsies visit the Borough and stay for varying periods of time. There is a site provided for travellers which has facilities and access to medical, social and educational services.

The site provided for Travellers and Gypsies is managed by a member of the travelling community on behalf of the County Council. It is located on Gapton Hall Road, Great Yarmouth, NR31 0NL. To view a map please click here

Some Travellers and Gypsies attempt to gain access to land without due authority and the Borough Council works within a Norfolk wide framework to manage such incursions.
