Railcards
Senior Citizens Railcard Procedures.
Applicants must provide documentary evidence that they are sixty or over and are a permanent resident of the Borough. Suitable forms of identification are;
medical card
driving licence
valid bus pass issued by GYBC
A request for a railcard must be done in person at the Cashiers office at Trafalgar House as a form needs to be completed and the reverse of the railcard should be signed in the presence of the cashier.
Railcards cost £19.50 each.
If a customer requests a duplicate railcard for any reason (apart from ineligible expiry date) then they should be informed that they need to go to the railway station to obtain thier duplicate. A duplicate can only be issued for an ineligible date once checks have been made to ensure that GYBC issued the railcard in the first instance.
