Intelligent Buildings For Smart Companies
Beacon Park is the commercial part of the 125 acre (50.58 hectare) South Gorleston Development Area positioned adjacent to the A12, immediately to the south of Great Yarmouth.
The South Gorleston Development Area was first identified by Great Yarmouth Borough Council as the area most capable of meeting the Borough’s increasing need for commercial, light industrial and residential development land in the medium to long term.
The objective at Beacon Park is to attract a high quality low density mixed use development in a landscaped setting, providing a choice of accommodation for those companies for whom the current stock of land and premises in the town is unsuitable.
Beacon Park has therefore been conceived to meet the aims of the overall development, and to provide occupiers with design and build packages of land and premises. It offers a real alternative, not previously available in the area, for existing businesses to re-locate to more appropriate and impressive surroundings.
Beacon Park has been designed to allow the occupier maximum flexibility.
The Park allows for natural expansion, and as businesses grow, to re-locate within the Park, forging a close knit business community.
The concept envisages a mix of facilities which may include retail, leisure, neighbourhood foodstore, family pub/restaurant and hotel.
The mixed use nature of the Park will enable the provision of office and light industrial accommodation based upon the development of bespoke buildings to suit individual requirements.
Beacon Park has been designed to sustain long term development, with Phases II and III providing the land needed for the natural expansion of companies who outgrow their current requirements, as well as encouraging further investment in the Park.
