Can I hire the Town Hall?

Our beautifully refurbished Victorian Town Hall is the perfect place to hold a celebration, party, wedding reception, civil ceremony, prom night, gala dinner dance or conference. The Town Hall has magnificent function rooms, all elegantly decorated with heritage paint colours to make the most of the building's original features.

We offer a number of rooms:

Supper Room70Elegant venue for a civil ceremony, smaller wedding breakfast or formal drinks  reception.
Magistrates' Courtroom70Best suited for debates, but also a historic, unusual venue for a wedding ceremony.

*Maximum attendees include the wedding couple, two registrars and guests.

Can I hire a room for a private function?

Whether you're planning a big celebration for up to 200 guests or a slightly smaller gathering, we can set up the Assembly Room to compliment your plans.

Be it a milestone birthday party, anniversary celebration or gala dinner, the room can be set up to your specific requirements.

Our dedicated Events Co-ordinator will be on hand from start to finish to assist with the plans for your function and to help with catering and entertainment options.

Do you offer wedding packages?

Our dedicated wedding co-ordinator can help you to create a bespoke wedding package perfect for you and your budget.

As the Town Hall does not have an in-house caterer, you have the freedom to bring on board one of your own choosing. Whether you opt for the traditional three course wedding breakfast, a buffet banquet, or something completely different. It's entirely up to you. For your peace of mind, we work with several local caterers who have experience in providing for functions at the Town Hall.

From intimate civil ceremonies followed by a celebratory drinks reception to hosting your full wedding day for up to 200 guests, Great Yarmouth Town Hall makes the perfect wedding venue.

Four meeting rooms seat between 20 and 200 people in classroom, boardroom, U-shape, cabaret or theatre style.

Elegant and centrally located - we hire rooms for a minimum of three hours.
