9. Holidays and sickness
- 9.1.
If sickness absence spans over two holiday years, then employees may be able to carry forward untaken holiday from one year to the next, subject to certain restrictions. Further details can be found in the Annual Leave Policy.
9.2.If an employee becomes unwell whilst on holiday, in consultation with HR, managers may be able to offer employees the ability to convert holiday into sick leave, upon receipt of a Fit Note to cover the sickness for the whole period that the employee was sick. This remains at the ultimate discretion of the Head of Organisational Development.
