Open - Belton with Browston, Burgh Castle and Fritton with St Olaves Neighbourhood Plan consultation

The Borough Council is currently publishing and consulting upon the Belton with Browston, Burgh Castle and Fritton with St Olaves Neighbourhood Plan (2022-2038) under Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (opens new window). This plan is a formal plan prepared by the respective parish councils. If adopted, the neighbourhood plan's policies will be used to help decide planning applications in the area.

Representations (comments) on the document are invited between 12:00 midday on 24 May 2024 and 23:59 on 05 July 2024. Representations should address whether or not the draft neighbourhood plan meets the basic conditions and other matters that the examiner is required to consider under Paragraph 08 of Schedule 4B to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (opens new window) (as amended). Representations may also address whether the referendum area should be extended beyond the neighbourhood area. Anyone wishing to make a case for an oral hearing should do so as part of a written representation.

Should you wish to be notified by the Borough Council at Regulation 19, whether the Borough Council makes (adopts) the neighbourhood plan, then please also indicate this on your representation.

Following the representations period, the plan, together with all duly made representations, will then be submitted to the independent examiner.

The proposed submission documents, and details on how to make a representation, can be found on the Belton with Browston, Burgh Castle and Fritton with St Olaves Neighbourhood Plan page
