Community Champions

We proudly run our Community Champions' programme. Community Champions play an important role in our thriving communities. We help these brilliant people by bringing them together to chat, keeping them updated and engaged about new projects and local services, and helping them to be a key voice in and for their local community.

If you are aged over 18, live or work in the Great Yarmouth Borough and can help to share information with your local community, via friends, family, and neighbours, then you can become a Community Champion. As a Community Champion you can keep everyone up to date about local events, the latest health and wellbeing support, funding opportunities and so much more for your local area.

Becoming a Community Champion gives you the opportunity to attend regular community check-ins and virtual sharing sessions where you will have the chance to speak with the team, you will get plenty of important pieces of information and materials to share to help keep people in your community safe, healthy and happy.
