Winter Gardens

The project has reached the stage of Enabling Works having completed its concept design stage. Enabling works began in September 2025 which have focused on making the Grade II* structure safe and ready for full restoration. Key activities completed include:

• Installation of site hoardings
• Asbestos removal
• Demolition of later additions (out buildings)
• Soft strip works
• cleaning and sampling of the iron frame
• Installation of temporary "zimmerframe" and piling works

These works are essential to de-risk the main conservation works and are due to be completed Summer 2026.
