Winter Gardens Events
The Winter Gardens will be taking part in Heritage Open Days with a special event: Explore the Future of the Winter Gardens on
- Friday 19 September: 10am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm
- Saturday 20 September: 10am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm
- Sunday 21 September: 10am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm
Booking is essential with bookings opening on Wednesday 27 August at 10am.
We are inviting members of the public to go behind the scenes of the iconic Winter Gardens redevelopment. Join site tours led by the main contractor and get a first hand look at the transformation in progress, learn about the building's past and future, and hear how it is being brought back to life for future generations.

What should I do when I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour start time and wait at the front of the Winter Gardens on South Beach Parade.
PPE (hard hat, high visibility vest and glasses) will be issued before you enter the building and must be worn throughout the tour. We will provide safety shoes for you, once your ticket is confirmed please email mailto:marketing@great-yarmouth.gov.uk to notify us of shoe sizes required.
Is there an age limit?
Tours are open to people aged 14 and above.
Is the site accessible?
The Winter Gardens is currently a building site, and so unfortunately is not accessible for wheelchair users.

Where can I park?
The nearest car parks are St Nicholas Car Park, South Beach Parade NR30 3JP and Jetty Car Park, 13 Marine Parade NR30 3AN. There is also a small amount of free parking on the seafront.
