Filby Neighbourhood Plan (Review) Regulation 16 Consultation

About the Filby Neighbourhood Plan consultation

The Borough Council consulted upon the Filby Neighbourhood Plan (2022-2041) between 6 February 2026 and 20 March 2026. If adopted, the neighbourhood plan's policies will be used to help decide planning applications in the area. There is currently an adopted Filby Neighbourhood Plan which forms part of the development plan for the Borough. This consultation related to a review of the adopted document (or a 'Modification Proposal').

Upon appointment of an independent examiner, the plan, together with all duly made representations, shall be submitted for examination. Further updates regarding the appointment of the independent examiner and the formal commencement of examination will be provided on the Filby Neighbourhood Plan (review) status page.

Representations were asked to address whether or not the draft neighbourhood plan meets the basic conditions and other matters that the examiner is required to consider under paragraph 11 of Schedule A2 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended).

The submission documents which have been published can be viewed below:
