William Morris and the Yarmouth Anarchists talk

Portrait of William Morris

At a heritage walk, we were asked the question, 'Did William Morris ever come to Great Yarmouth?'

The answer is fascinating! He came three times during 1889 to speak in support of the Yarmouth branch of The Socialist party he founded.

In this talk we explore the League in the town and their role in anarchism during the late 1880s and early 1890s.
