Great Yarmouth Borough has four Community Land Trusts covering the areas identified on the  Community Land Trust Map (PDF) [1MB] (opens new window) .

Below are details of the newly created Community Land Trusts which have been created in the Borough, with contact details should you wish to ask about their experiences or join your local group.

This Community Land Trust (CLT) covers the parishes of:

• Hemsby
• Martham
• Repps with Bastwick
• Rollesby
• Somerton
• Stokesby with Herringby 

It is open to welcoming any new parishes or members.

The Flegg CLT vision:

'Building well designed, energy-efficient homes with lower running costs which can be owned by the local communities in perpetuity and managed in a suitable structure for the benefit of the CLT, for example by a housing association or a registered provider.'

This Community Land Trust (CLT) covers the town centre of Great Yarmouth. It is the Borough's newest CLT. It welcomes new members.

The Great Yarmouth CLT Ambition:

'Great Yarmouth CLT would like to provide and own community housing in Great Yarmouth specifically designed for the affordable rental or shared ownership market.'

We are looking for groups of local people with backing from their Parish Council who want to make a difference to the housing provision for their area.  

The Community Housing Fund is for any Community Led Housing organisation working within the Borough of Great Yarmouth to provide housing for the people of Great Yarmouth.
