Chance to perform at Gorleston Bandstand!

Inspired by Gorleston seafront's starring role in Danny Boyle's new Beatles-themed movie, talented local singers and musicians are being offered the special opportunity to perform at Gorleston Bandstand this summer.

The annual programme of unticketed concerts are underway - and this year the chance is being offered to local bands, singers and choirs to perform in a number of Sunday slots, from 2pm to 4pm, during August and September.

Organised by Great Yarmouth Borough Council, the free-to-watch performances aim to add to the traditional family holiday atmosphere that Gorleston is famous for, and to help showcase local musical talent.

To enquire about performing, please contact Ruth Cockrill via tourism@great-yarmouth.gov.uk sending a link to an example recording of your music. Performers will need to bring their own equipment, including a microphone and amplifier.

The programme of performances would not be possible without the valuable support of Harbour Radio, the Rotary Club of Gorleston-on-Sea and Gorleston Pavilion Theatre.
