Council's Champions team up with Vision Norfolk to offer residents a relaxed Covid vaccine clinic

The clinic, which will take place from 10am until 2pm, will see the team at Vision Norfolk, vaccinators from the Louise Hamilton Centre and the Community Champions offering a relaxed approach, a variety of private rooms and free refreshments at Vision Norfolk's Great Yarmouth office.

Cllr Flaxman-Taylor, chair of the Housing and Neighbourhood committee, said: "This event is the perfect opportunity for residents living with anxiety, a visual impairment or a disability to get their Covid-19 vaccines from medical professionals in a safe, welcoming and relaxed setting.

"There is no need for residents to book - just drop in!"

Founded in 1805, Vision Norfolk is one of the UK's longest-established charities providing support to visually impaired people to help them lead fulfilling lives. It offers a wide range of support including befriending, independent living advice and peer support.
