Last call for people to apply for UK's biggest outdoor bowls festival
The Visit Great Yarmouth Festival of Bowls, one of the most anticipated events in the world of bowls, is excited to remind participants that the closing date for registrations is rapidly approaching on Thursday, June 1.
Bowlers from all over the country are encouraged to secure their spot in this prestigious tournament, renowned for its rich history and superb competitive atmosphere, which will take place from Sunday, August 27, until Friday, September 22.
This year's festival promises to be the biggest and most exciting edition yet, attracting participants of all skill levels, from amateurs to seasoned professionals. Bowlers will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and compete against some of the finest players in the sport, all while enjoying the camaraderie and community spirit the festival is renowned for.
The festival has also added an additional tournament to the festival programme for under 21s, which will be played on Saturday, September 9. Prize money will be announced after the entries close with the winner also taking home the Raymond Harvey Driver Memorial Cup.
Participants can expect a wide range of competitions throughout the festival, including men, ladies and mixed teams competing in singles, pairs, triples and fours events. The festival boasts first-class facilities, with beautifully maintained greens and a friendly atmosphere that ensures both seasoned players and newcomers have an unforgettable experience.

The bowls festival is only able to go ahead thanks to funding from Visit Great Yarmouth along with sponsorship from Wentworth Holidays and Jack and Bowl. Sponsorship packages are still available along with advertising packages to be included in the Official Programme also available.
