Delivery partners and team

The project is run by a small central team at Great Yarmouth Borough Council. We have a dedicated project co-ordinator and frontline delivery is co-ordinated by GYBC's Neighbourhood Managers. Frontline staff are employed by our seven delivery partners:

Future Projects
Future Projects is providing support to individual residents through our Life Connectors. We are a driving force for social change and are transferring the successful approach and practice developed in Norwich to Great Yarmouth. Our Life connectors support individuals and communities to overcome multiple challenges and disadvantages, by enabling them to develop their own creative solutions to solve problems.

GYROS
We are leading on the delivery of the voluntary sector service transformation aspects of the project through our team of service connectors. Our organisation supports newcomers and migrant communities in the Great Yarmouth area, but we are widening our remit through this project to support a wide range of people and to link up services more effectively.

Voluntary Norfolk
We are delivering community development and transformation through Community Development Workers and Community Connectors, but we are also contributing the delivery of the employment and skills and economic development aspects of the project through our Skills Connectors. We have been the partner of choice for the Borough Council for over eight years because of our expertise in developing and delivering voluntary sector infrastructure support and development.

Business in the Community (BITC)
We will be engaging businesses and supporting them join a Responsible Business Network for Great Yarmouth, engaging local employers and creating opportunities for residents to access training, mentoring, work-related activities, and community support. It will connect businesses with NTW practitioners, strengthen corporate social responsibility across the area, and embed long-term employer involvement in education, skills development, and neighbourhood resilience.

East Coast College
We are delivering the Training Connector aspect of the project. By working with residents to understand their interests and local employers to understand skills needs, training courses and learning opportunities will be tailored accordingly.

Norfolk & Waveney Mind (Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind)
We are delivering the volunteering aspect of the project. By focusing on the hobbies, interests and aspirations of residents, we are able to work with organisations to create opportunities that matter to the community. Contributing to the skill development within communities.
