Report a concern
Norfolk County Council is the lead organisation for safeguarding across Norfolk. You can raise a safeguarding concern (including children and persons under 18 years old) by contacting Adult Social Services on 0344 800 8020 or reporting online. You may remain anonymous, but please give as much information as possible so they can follow it up.

Emergencies
If there is a risk of immediate danger or harm to anyone, please contact the police on 999 or 101 for non-urgent emergencies. For urgent Mental Health support please contact 111, option 2.

What is safeguarding?
Safeguarding is preventing the physical, emotional, sexual, psychological and financial abuse of adults who have care and support needs, and acting quickly when abuse is suspected.
Abuse can include:

- modern slavery
- discrimination
