Freedom of information

If we decide to withhold some or all of the information you have asked for, we will let you know the reasons why. We will also explain what to do if you have a complaint about how your request was handled.

In certain circumstances, the Council is not obliged to release information, and these are called exemptions. Further information about this is contained within our Freedom of Information Policy, Paragraph 2.14 . A list of the exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act can be found on the Information Commissioner's website at www.ico.org.uk.
