Calling all young performers for speakeasy fun at St. George's Theatre

Gang warfare, waged with custard pies, is about to break out in St. George's Theatre as young actors audition for parts in a fun musical show.

Bugsy

Bugsy Malone features the rival gangs of Fat Sam and Dandy Dan battling for power, armed with cream-shooting "splurge guns" in 1930s America.

The Theatre is looking for a large company to play all the parts. Young people aged between 8 and 18 years are invited to come along on Sunday 22nd July at 10.00am to St. George's Theatre to audition. The production will rehearse from September.

Producer Debbie Thompson said: "The show is so vibrant and such fun, with gangsters, custard pies, humour and catchy songs," she added " Every budding actor is welcome, no experience required, just come along and join in the auditions and have fun!'

Bugsy Malone will be performed at St. Georges Theatre from Wednesday 24th October to Sunday 18th October at 7.30pm nightly and a 2.30pm matinee on the Sunday.
