Help us keep the Great Yarmouth borough warm this winter

In the depths of winter, there's nothing nicer than stepping out of the bitterly cold weather into a warm home.

Warm Homes Campaign

Having somewhere warm to live is also essential for keeping healthy. Living in the cold leaves you vulnerable to illness and can affect mental health too.

However, not everyone can afford to keep their homes warm, which is why Great Yarmouth Borough Council, working in partnership with other Norfolk Councils, is offering central heating system grants or advice for anyone struggling to heat their home.

This means fuel poor households without central heating could be eligible for help with bills or the installation of first-time central heating.

The Norfolk Warm Homes Fund isn't just for homeowners either; private landlords can get up to75% off first time central heating systems to help tenants reduce their energy bills.

The money comes from The Warm Homes Fund, which is provided by National Grid to provide affordable heating solutions in fuel poor households which don't use mains gas as their primary heating fuel.

Finding out if you qualify is easy-give us a call on01603 430103 and we'll be able to tell you.  Know someone else who you think would benefit?  Get in touch or direct them to us we would love to help make the Great Yarmouth borough warm for everyone this winter.
