A Beetle Drive is a charity fundraiser based on the traditional family favourite game Beetle which is suitable for adults and children to play together. In groups of four, players take it in turns to throw the dice and draw the beetle body parts, with each body part numbered.

Participants need to roll a six for the body to start the game and then everyone takes it in turns to roll the dice until someone in the group completes the full animal and shouts 'beetle'.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £7 for children and include a portion of fish and chips. There will also be a cash bar available all evening, with both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages available to buy.

His Worship the Mayor, Cllr Plant, said: "I'm looking forward to hosting this Beetle Drive and hope to see a tremendous turnout of children and adults for an evening of fun, while raising funds for Hemsby Lifeboat, Bradwell Scouts and Bradwell Buds."

Cllr Flaxman-Taylor said: "I have experience in organising Beetle Drives and I wanted to use my experience to help His Worship raise funds for all of his great local charities."

Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
