Development Management Committee

One of the key responsibilities of the Committee is to deal with local authority planning applications under specific circumstances.  Further information about the Development Management Committee can be found on the Constitution Article 15.

The Development Management Committee comprises 13 Members appointed by the Council under the Political Balance Rule. All Members of the Development Management Committee must undertake mandatory training to ensure they are suitably prepared to effectively discharge the role of Development Management Committee member.
