Coastal adaptation document formally adopted

A document providing planning guidance for coastal communities in East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and North Norfolk has been formally adopted.

This year marks the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the devastating floods of 1953 during which over 300 people lost their lives and the 10th anniversary of the 2013 East Coast Tidal Surge when many hundreds of homes and businesses were flooded. It is seems fitting then that 2023 sees the launch of the first East Anglian Coast and Estuaries Conference.

Young People of Norfolk had their say as first Ice House public consultation is carried out

On Tuesday, young people between the ages of 16 and 25 had their say on the future use of the town's historical building, The Ice House. During the day's open space session, ideas and needs of our future generation were heard and documented. Students from East Coast College, Access Creative College and East Norfolk Sixth Form were in attendance.
