Brownfield register

Review and revision of the Brownfield Register 2025

In accordance with the Brownfield Land Register Regulations (2017), the Borough Council has reviewed its Brownfield Register and revised it for publication in the 2025: Version 1 register.

Each site was reassessed against the criteria taking account of the most up-to-date information. Accordingly, some sites have been removed from the register while others now meeting the criteria have been added.

Sites expired from the register and reason 

If the site no longer needs to be listed (for example, if the site has been built on), it should remain on the register for historical reasons and not be deleted. This is called 'End Dating', each year the register is checked for those sites which should be end dated.

The following sites have been end dated in the brownfield register because each has either been completed or is currently under construction so is no longer considered available:
