Great Yarmouth Borough Council's events team has gathered some of the best local suppliers to inspire couples to help plan their wedding.

Town Hall Wedding Fayre in 2021

The Wedding Fayre, which takes place at the Town Hall on Sunday February, 5 and is free to attend, will showcase florists, cake designers, venue decorators, photographers and entertainers, and is an opportunity for people to view the Victorian landmark building as their potential wedding venue.

Boasting a total of four rooms available for civil weddings, the Town Hall is the perfect location for couples to celebrate their entire wedding day from ceremony through to evening reception and can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Weddings can be tailored to meet the requirements of the couple, from civil ceremonies followed by a simple drinks reception, through to an entire day of celebrations with a three-course wedding breakfast. Couples who get married at the Town Hall have the freedom to choose their own caterers which means they have the flexibility on the style of food and budget.

The Wedding Fayre will be open to the public from 11am until 3pm, giving people the opportunity to explore the beautifully decorated rooms and meet wedding suppliers. Members of the council's events team will also be on hand to answer questions.

There is also a chance to enter a free prize draw, refreshments can be purchased from the licensed bar and free parking is available at Greyfriars Car Park just behind the Town Hall.

Cllr Carl Smith, leader of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, said: "The Town Hall is an accessible, affordable and central wedding venue which can cater for smaller, more intimate weddings right up to larger celebrations of love."
