As the start of Remembrance approaches, Great Yarmouth Borough Council invites residents to commemorate the fallen and support the armed forces community in person at several public events in the upcoming weeks.

Two Great Yarmouth organisations have been recognised for their community work supporting local children and young people at this year's Flourish Awards in Norfolk.

Admiral Nelson will be remembered at the annual Trafalgar Day service, to be held at Nelson's monument, Great Yarmouth, on Sunday October 22, at 1pm.
