Council Tax is your contribution towards the vital services we provide.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council is required by law to protect the public funds it administers. Therefore we may share Council Tax information provided to us with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds or where undertaking a public function in order to prevent and detect fraud. Great Yarmouth Borough Council sends out and collects the Council Tax bills to the residents of the Borough. However, most of the this is collected on behalf of Norfolk County Council, Norfolk Police Authority with a small portion being collected for parish councils in the Borough.
