Voter ID - make sure you are ready

The UK Government is changing how you vote. From May 2023, you will need to show photo ID when you vote at a polling station.

Empty homes

There are private properties standing empty in Great Yarmouth, while there is a shortage of housing in the Borough. The Borough Council is actively looking to bring these properties back into use and has recently employed extra resource to assist with enforcement action.

These pages offer ideas and assistance to empty home owners to help bring empty properties back into use.

Kent County Council - winner of the 2018 UK Housing Award for Outstanding Approach to Regeneration, and creator of the No Use Empty initiative - has agreed to share the information from its website.

Report an empty property

The Borough Council operates a joint enforcement group. Reporting a property through any one of the routes detailed will highlight the property to other relevant departments.
