11. Moving Home

1. 11.1. When a tenant needs to move home as their home is no longer suitable for them, to request a transfer, tenants will need to apply to join the Housing Register. Transfer requests will be considered in accordance with the Council's Housing allocations policy and scheme.
2. 11.2. Where there is a specified and urgent need for a tenant to move to another property, the Housing Assets Service will seek Management Move priority for a move and request a Direct Let. Such requests will be considered by the Council's Housing Advice Team in accordance with the Housing allocations policy and scheme.
